20th National Chinese Communist Party Congress

The 20th Congress of the Chinese Communist Party is an important political event in China. However, above all it is  the occasion to publicly validate the political and strategic decisions already taken several months before. What is disseminated to us through communiqués of the party and its press organs does not reflect the real ideological, political and strategic developments of the regime. One must look beyond the appointments and the publicity around catch phrase, such as “common prosperity”, to have a clear understanding of the CCP inner-workings and priorities.
